- The size of a tornado is not always an indication of how much damage it will cause. Large tornadoes can be weak, and small tornadoes can be very violent.
- In 1995, the town of Pampa, Texas, there was a little tornado. This "Little guy" took six new cars from the parking and pulled them inside its funnel.
- The scale used for measuring tornadoes is called the Fujita- Pearson scale. The scale starts with a gale tornado, which has 40mph winds.
- It goes upto six more degrees - moderate tornado, significant tornado, severe tornado, incredible tornado, devastating tornado and inconceivable tornado.
- If a tornado of sixth degree ever struck then it will be difficult for anyone to imagine the amount of destruction it will bring.
