What are Meta Tags?
Meta Tags are Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) attributes that describe a page's content. It simply makes your blog's content noticeable for search engines. This means adding meta tags will help you in receiving more traffics and page views. Meta tags are commonly located in the header of our website, that are being, in the same time, invisible to users visiting the site. to be more precise, these tags include information about the page such as author name, date, keyword, description, title, among others. Therefore, today let us learn how to add meta tags in your blogger template and make your blog more noticeable in the internet world
Open NotePad in your computer>Copy and paste given HTML in it:

Once pasted in notepad, edit the above HTML as
per your requirement. I have highlighted in red that need to be corrected. In
search word 1, 2 & 3..there isn't any fixed range. You can add as many as
possible.
Once you have done editing in notepad, you have
insert those meta tags in your blogger templates:
Login to your blog>Click on Template>Click
on Edit HTML>Find (Ctrl+F): <head> and just below it add the HTML (one
edited in notepad)
If you have inserted your meta tags correctly,
then you can click on Save Template. Meta Tags have added.
It is best to test if it works and we will do so
with the MetaChecker online tool, where we only
have to introduce the url of a post or page, click Analyze and then it will
show the results, including a complete analysis of keywords, on-page SEO, meta
tags, URLs, current server status and a rating bar that goes from Horror to
Excellent.
If all goes well, you can now expect increase in
the number of visitors your blog receives.
